The public is invited to a free family tailgating party tonight at Greene County Elementary. 

It will be held in the bus turnaround area behind the school from 5-6:30pm. The free event includes hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cookies, water and apples from Deal’s Orchard, with the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association grilling. Games and activities that everyone can enjoy are Jenga, cornhole, sidewalk chalk, among others. Principal Scott Johnson says they to engage families and welcome everyone back to a new school year.
