Custom and classic motorcycles, cars, and more will be cruising into Guthrie Center tomorrow for the fifth annual Guthrie’s Rockin’ Retro Car Show.
This show operates a little differently from other car shows in that instead of offering three award places per class, the show awards 24 specialty classes with one-of-a-kind custom built trophies and $50 for each winner. Additionally, there are cash prizes and trophies for the Best of Show, and second and third place Best of Show entries. There will also be the “EMS Choice Award” selected by Panora Emergency Medical Services, and a special memorial award to honor the late Kim Lubeck of Panora. Entry fee is $20 but free for spectators. There will also be food and other vendors, a raffle, and pin-up contest. Also new this year is a “Little Miss Rockin’ Retro” contest for girls ages 12-years-old and younger. All proceeds will benefit Panora EMS. Guthrie’s Rockin’ Retro Car Show lasts from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in downtown Guthrie Center. For more information visit here.
