Next Tuesday, the Greene County Medical Center is helping to host two events for the community.
The first is the Auxiliary having its annual Salad Luncheon event. The fundraiser will be held from 11am-1pm at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson. It includes several different salads, with all proceeds going to the Auxiliary for purchases for the medical center. Tickets are $6 per person and can be purchased at the Gift Garden of the medical center, from any Auxilian or at the door. Carry-outs will also be available.
The second event is a Low Back Pain and Sciatica Workshop at 5:30pm in the education classroom of the medical center. Physical Therapist with 21st Century Rehabilitation Danielle Weber will lead the workshop as attendees will learn about permanent relief methods that don’t involve surgery, pain medication or injections. It is free and open to the public, with pre-registration encouraged by calling 386-4284.
