Tuesday night, the Dallas Center-Grimes Volleyball team was back on the court for the first time in a week.  The Fillies played to their potential and earned a 3-0 sweep on the Tigers of Grinnell.

In DC-G’s last match, the Fillies dropped a road contest at Oskaloosa, but responded well at home against Grinnell.

In the first set, DC-G took a sound 10 point victory, 25-15.  The Fillies won next two sets relatively easily 25-14, and 25-16.

Katelyn Knudsen lead the team with 15 kills, Grace Mikota added 12 digs and Ashley Ferguson tallied 3 aces.

Grinnell falls to 3-5 with the loss, while Dallas Center-Grimes improves to 10-2 with the home victory.

Cheryl Voelker’s Volleyball club will be back in action on Saturday in a weekend tournament in Bondurant.  DC-G will face Nevada, Pella Christian, and Bondurant Farrar, with competition scheduled for an 8:00am start time.
