The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.
The first meeting will be a work session starting at 5:15pm. The Board will discuss high school credits and graduation requirements. During a work session, the Board will not take any action on any of the items.
The Board will then meet for its regular meeting at 6:30pm. The meeting will start with a public hearing and possible approval of expenditures from the flexibility funds. The Board will then consider for approval a field trip request from the FFA chapter, the 2018-19 treasurer’s report, along with the 2018-19 certified annual report, transportation and special education supplemental reports.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval several fundraiser requests, the 2018-19 school board review committee’s request for allowable growth for special education deficit and access to limited English proficiency expenditures. They will also consider approving purchasing heat pump controls for the elementary school and make an appointment to the Iowa Association of School Board Delegate Assembly. Finally, the Board will discuss the special election results.
Both meetings will take place in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
