The Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams spent Monday evening running the course at Ballard of Huxley. Unseasonably hot and humid weather played a factor in the performance of all athletes in competition on Monday.
The DC-G Boys’ and Head Coach, Matt Pries, left Balllard on Monday night with a solid third place finish in the meet against the field of 12 total schools. The top finisher for the Mustangs on Monday, finished second overall in the meet.

Host school, Ballard, took first place in the Girls’ meet. Following the Fillies was Norwalk in third, Pella in fourth, and Carlisle in fifth, followed by the rest of the field.
