The AC/GC volleyball team swept Earlham on the road Tuesday.
The Chargers hit the road coming off their first loss of the season to face Earlham Tuesday evening. AC/GC came into the match with an 11-1 record through the first 12 matches of the season. The Chargers got off to a 1-0 lead winning the first set 21-12. AC/GC kept their momentum going in the second winning 21-16. The Chargers were able to head back to Guthrie Center early after completing the sweep with a 21-17 third set.
AC/GC improves to 12-1 on the season. The Chargers will get a few days rest before hosting a tournament Saturday in Guthrie Center. Their first match will be against Colfax-Mingo at 9 p.m. at AC/GC High School.
