Another busy week for the Dallas Center-Grimes Athletics programs got started last night, as both the Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams ran the course at Ballard of Huxley.

Last week, DC-G Cross Country missed its share of action due to impending weather in the Winterset area.  Justin Droppert’s girls will run on Saturday this weekend at the Heartland Meet at Central College in Pella.

Cheryl Voelker’s Volleyball squad will be back on the court tonight.  Last Tuesday, the Fillies were upset on the road at Oskaloosa.  DC-G, 9-2, will look to get back to its winning ways this evening with a match at home tonight in Grimes versus Grinnell.

And finally, Scott Heitland’s Football club will look for its third straight victory on Friday, with a long road trip to Glenwood.  DC-G picked up win #2 last Friday, in their home opener against Ballard, 7-0. The Mustangs will face a very potent Glenwood offense, and a 3-0 Rams team.
