A program will be offered by Greene County Extension focusing on individuals wanting to start a business.

The Small Business Development Center (SMDC) and Iowa Central Community College Business program are partnering to host the Smart Start workshop. The program will give attendees numerous resources and tips for starting their own business. Speakers include the regional director for SMDC, along with a certified personal accountant, a marketing specialist and an insurer. 

The meeting will take place at the Greene County Extension Office in Jefferson on Wednesday, September 18th from 6-8:30pm. The cost is $35 per person, which also includes a workbook. Call SMDC at 515-574-1293 to register.
