Jefferson Telecom recently announced who will be taking over as general manager.

Jamie Daubendiek is the new general manager of the company, succeeding his father Jim Daubendiek. Jamie started with Jefferson Telecom in 2009 and previously served as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Luther College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado. 

Jamie has been a proponent for higher internet speeds, Wi-Fi management technology, hosted phone systems for business customers and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). He is also an advocate for economic development serving as Jefferson Matters: Main Street Board President.

Jim has served as general manager since 1988. He will continue to be with Jefferson Telecom for special projects and help Jamie through the transition. Jamie represents the fifth generation of family involvement in the business.
