The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday.
The meeting will begin with a discussion of the city’s comprehensive plan with Region XII Council of Governments. Next, the Council will consider granting an extension of time to Cardinal Homes, LLC for the property at 408 South Gaines Street, a resolution for the intent to sell the property known as “Coe’s Lot”, and a request from Neil Bryan to purchase city property. The Council will discuss the purchase of a dump truck and city show insulation with the street department. The Council will also consider approval of a snow removal ordinance, the 2019 urban renewal report, and discuss a workers compensation audit with EMC Insurance. The Council will then consider a pay estimate for the Wambold phase two project, consider setting dates for receipt of bids and a public hearing for the All Saints Addition, and discuss the South Division Street center turn lane and Southwest Third Street storm sewer projects. Finally, the Council will consider appointing a utility board member.
The Council meets at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
