Friday, August 30th

12:47am: Kris Selfors reported two individuals arguing in the 2000 block of North Mulberry Street.

2:02am: Officers responded to 202 West Adams Street for a Burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals fighting in the front yard of the residence. The two individuals were identified as Juan Guzman and Christopher Lindaman. As a result, Juan Guzman (32) of Jefferson was placed under arrest for Assault – Simple Misdemeanor. During the investigation it was found that another male that was on scene, Joshua Geigle (27) of Jefferson, had outstanding Chickasaw County Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear. Joshua was arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail.

9:01am: Teresa Gaver spoke with an officer about possible criminal activity.

9:07am:An officer assisted the Perry Police Department with an ongoing investigation.

10:51am: An officer responded to 107 East Vest Street for a Trespassing complaint from Tosha Hickman. Thomas Oyres was at the residence and was complaining about mail that was being delivered to the property.

10:57am: An officer responded to the Greene County Medical Center (1000 West Lincoln Way) for an abandoned vehicle.

4:43pm: An officer responded to the 400 block of North Wilson Avenue for a 2-vehicle traffic accident. Jeannie Gustoff was backing up in the roadway in her 2011 Ford F-150 and struck the front end of a 2016 Ford Fusion being operated by Amanda Carlson. Jeannie was issued a citation for Unsafe Backing. The F-150 sustained $500 in damages and the Fusion sustained $2,000 in damages.

6:08pm: Kendall Griffin reported a longboard being stolen in the 1000 block of West Adams Street with the value being $315. An officer is investigating.

8:36pm:An officer responded to 400 West State Street for a bat in the residence.

9:35pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Officer with a driving complaint on Highway 30.

9:44pm: Donna Walterman reported a bat in her residence.

10:01pm: An officer responded to 620 South Chestnut Street for a bat in the residence.

11:00pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Elm Street, Frank Wozab of Dayton was issued a citation for Excessive Speed.

Saturday, August 31st

12:55am: An officer located two individuals trespassing at Daubendiek Park.

8:45am: An officer responded to the laundromat located at 301 West Reed Street for a male who was stuck in the bathroom. The officer was able to free the man.

6:30pm: An officer responded to the Greene County Community Center (204 West Harrison Street) for an alarm. Everything was found to be okay.

7:12pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with lifting of a patient in the 700 block of Wild Rose Lane.

9:28pm: Shelly Hail reported returning home to her residence at 105 North Walnut Street to find her front door open.

10:30pm: Brianna Ferguson reported a dog running loose in the 700 block of Highway 30 East.

Sunday, September 1st

4:36am: Shelly hail reported a suspicious individual walking around her residence at 105 North Walnut Street.

5:54am: An officer responded to 300 South Grimmell Road for a bat in the residence.

6:33am: An officer responded to 220th Street and Gallup Road for a dog that had been hit by a vehicle.

12:57pm: Penny James reported a vehicle that had been stolen in Dallas Center. She was referred to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office to report the incident.

2:42pm: Teresa Gaver spoke with an officer about possible criminal activity.

3:56pm: Jennie Rothfus spoke with an officer about a civil issue.

5:41pm: Teresa Gaver spoke with an officer about possible criminal activity.

8:17pm: Jennifer Ashby spoke with an officer about a civil issue.

9:22pm: Brett Meyer reported finding a loose dog by the intersection of South Elm Street and West Russell Street.

9:50pm: An officer responded to 405 South West Street for a possible domestic issue.

11:45pm: An officer responded to 103 Briarwood Bend for a Lifeline alarm. Everything was found to be okay.

**** As a result of an investigation / traffic stop that occurred on April 27 th, 2019 at 2118 hours, Arrest Warrants have been requested for Brock Igou (19) of Carroll for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana – Serious Misdemeanor.

Monday, September 2nd

8:32am: Kelli Luther reported a stray dog at 504 South Oak Street. The owner had picked up the animal before the officer’s arrival.

10:58am: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 408 South Olive Street.

7:01pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Nathan Blankman of Manning being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

7:43pm: An officer was requested at 300 South Grimmell Road for a bat in the house. The officer was unable to locate the animal.

7:57pm: A Traffic Stop at 235th and Q avenue resulted in Joshua Smithson of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

8:19pm: Jennifer Ashby reported her adult daughter was missing since Sunday and may be in Des Moines. The officer forwarded the information to Des Moines PD. She was also placed in the NCIC System on an “Attempt to Locate.”

10:51pm: An officer was requested at 205 West Madison Street for a bat in the house. The officer did not locate the bat.
