West Central Valley’s Louden Foster got off to a great start for his senior campaign with a first place finish in the Southeast Valley Invitational. Foster finished with a time of 16 minutes and 44 seconds, a full minute and 30 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher. He was two seconds away from getting a PR, set at the state race last year. Matt Gerling finished 17th out of 115 runners, as the Wildcats team finished 8th out of 10 teams in the race.

For the girls, Aliyah Dixon and Shaynn Wahman finished 21st and 22nd out of 91 runners respectively, with the girls team finishing 5th out of nine schools.

The teams will have more races upcoming, so will see what both teams can do for an encore performance in the coming days.
