The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will start with the latest update on the new law enforcement center project, including consideration of the 19th pay application and a contract with Storey Kenworthy for the furniture. Following that the Board will consider approval of the certificate of substantial completion with Trinity Construction for the courthouse renovation project. Next, the Supervisors will have a pair of items related to the Emergency Management Department, including a resolution for the emergency declaration policy and a proclamation for National Preparedness Month.
At 9:30 a.m., the Board will continue a public hearing from last week on proposed amendments to chapter 45 of the zoning ordinance, and then consider the second reading for the changes. Other items on the agenda include: a bridge inspection consultant contract and roads update from the Secondary Roads Department; a military tax credit reimbursement; Board committee reports; and department workshops with the Treasurer’s Office and Veteran’s Affairs. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
