Two Dallas County residents were arrested in Guthrie County Thursday on felony drug charges.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was conducted at about 1:30 p.m. in Bagley on a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Desiray Michelle Elliott of Linden with her significant other, 60-year-old Dennis Carroll Glenn of Redfield. During the stop, probable cause was found to search the vehicle. Inside a backpack, that Glenn identified was his, the deputy found a clear plastic baggy containing marijuana plant material, along with two meth pipes with residue, one marijuana pipe with residue, one small plastic container with marijuana plant material, and dark green gelatin believed to possibly be CBD (Cannabidiol) balm. Elliott said they had the plastic baggy with marijuana to deliver it to someone in the county. She also said both of them used marijuana in the vehicle prior to being stopped, and that the plastic container with marijuna was some that Glenn “held back” for personal usage. After the two were arrested and brought to the sheriff’s office, Elliott identified the previous items as both hers and Glenn’s.
Glenn and Elliott were both charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a class D felony; and knowingly keeping a premises for use of controlled substances, an aggravated misdemeanor. Glenn was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance third offense, a class D felony; and Elliott was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine first offense, both serious misdemeanors.
