The West Central Valley Wildcats faced a very difficult opponent in Des Moines Christian Friday night and were unable to come out with a victory after falling 78-0 in their home opener. The Wildcats were overmatched from the beginning against a more experienced team in Des Moines Christian.

Though the result has to be disappointing for the Wildcats program, they have to be happy that their younger players got varsity experience against a great team. They also got a taste of what it takes to win at the varsity level, experience that can’t be replaced.

The Wildcats will go back to the drawing board for their practice during this upcoming week before they face a tough week two road test against Earlham.
