As the Guthrie County Fair goes on and Labor Day approaches, some Guthrie County offices have already closed up shop today to enjoy the weekend.

The Transfer Station, Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center, and Stuart Public Library are all closed today through Monday. Stuart, Guthrie Center, and Panora city halls, the Guthrie County Courthouse, and the Panora Public Library will all be closed on Monday. Garbage for Guthrie Center and Lake Panorama residents will not be picked up until Tuesday, and Panora residents may see some delays in garbage pick up on Tuesday. The Guthrie County Extension Office is also closed from now through Tuesday, September 3rd. All post offices will also be closed Monday, as well as most banking institutions.
