After a long offseason the West Central Valley Wildcats and Lady Wildcats cross country teams they will finally get going today. They will be competing at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course against  East Sac County, Manson Northwest Webster, South Central Calhoun,  and Southeast Valley. Many of these schools boost solid programs on the cross-country circuit.

Fans will finally get to see Louden Foster run for the first time during his senior campaign. He is expected to be one of the favorites in class 1A this year, and will look to get off on the right foot.

It should be a good test for the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats as they get ready for their season.
