The Panorama girl’s cross country is looking to duplicate a dominant performance at the Gilbert Invitational Thursday.
Last years the girls team dominated the field in Ames. As a team, they ran away with first place with a final point total of 46 which set a school record and was 25 points less than Earlham who finished runner ups. Individually, Ella Waddle took first place and set a school record with her time of 21:02. Gwen and Olivia Steffen along with Payton Beckman also finished in the top-15.
All four of Panorama runners from last year will be hitting the course again this year and the sky is the limit. The team is ranked #5 in class 2A according to Iowarunjumpthrow.com and Junior Ella Waddle starts the year sitting at #3 in class 2A.
