The Panorama volleyball team will hit the court tonight to try to build of a historic 2018.

Last year when Jessica Nail took over as head coach, the Panthers regularly struggled to end the season with more wins than losses. Nail took this team who was poised for a great year and led them to more wins than any team before them. Their 2019 season starts today as they hit the road to take on Interstate-35. The Panthers lost a lot of talent from last year. Only four girls on the roster were on the varsity team last season, incoming seniors Maggie Woodvine, Lindsey Van Gundy, and junior Grace Richey. Senior Payton Douglas will also be looking to boost the team late in the season. Nail tells Raccoon Valley Radio she hopes to return to the court mid-September as she’s recovering from a torn ACL.

Last year the Panthers started 1-0 after a 3-0 win against I-35.
