An economic development organization that serves Adair and Guthrie counties is shifting its focus towards the metro with a new partnership.

The Midwest Partnership Economic Development Corporation has joined Greater Des Moines Partnership. The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s team will assist the counties on business expansion projects and relocation projects from outside the greater Des Moines region. The Greater Des Moines Partnership will represent the two counties on a national and international scale. Midwest Partnership Executive Director Sarah Gomez says the organization is excited to join Greater Des Moines, crediting that the two groups value service, dedication, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. Midwest Partnership was formerly partnered with Western Iowa Advantage based in Carroll.
