New faces will be taking the court this evening as the AC/GC volleyball team hits the court for their season opener.

The Chargers will be hosting West Central Valley to kick off the 2019 season. AC/GC will face the challenge of a lot of turnover and many new faces taking the court. The Chargers have two seniors on their roster Olivia Laabs and Hailey Kintz. Recent history favors the Chargers as they’ve won six-consecutive sets against the Wildcats, dating back to 2015.

AC/GC hits the road later in the week to face Van Meter. AC/GC starts their season today with J.V. starting at 5 p.m. with varsity to follow at 7 p.m. in Guthrie Center.
