AC/GC flashed some great potential on both sides of the football during their scrimmage Friday.

The Chargers suited up against Madrid in a scrimmage in Guthrie Center. Senior Bryce Littler led the offense behind center as he did all year last season. The offense looked to be in mid-season form with consistent success from their base wishbone offense.

Sophomore Gavin Cornelison made his presence known finding the endzone twice, once from two yards out then again on a 20 yard dash. Cornelison is expected to be the teams best offensive weapon and workhorse as the teams top two rushers from last season in Ben Kingery and Gabe Rowley graduated in the spring. AC/GC even found success through the air as Littler caught a Tiger cornerback sleeping and connected with Cayden Jensen for a 25 yard completion.

Defensively, the Tigers were unable to find any success through the middle as Quynton Younker, Sam Madsen, and Gage Buttler acted as vacuums on the defensive line.

AC/GC will try to avenge last years loss to IKM-Manning next Friday and try to start the season in the win column for the first time since 2014.
