West Central Valley’s Louden Foster has already achieved a tremendous amount of success for his high school career. He finished in the 3rd spot in the state meet in Fort Dodge last year. Of course his sights will be set on the state championship crown in a couple of months.
One of his biggest focuses for the year will be making sure that he can continue to improve as the season goes. Last year at the ACGC invitational, he recorded a time of 18 minutes and 43 seconds. At the state race in Fort Dodge last year, 16 minutes and 42 seconds, a personal record and improvement of 2 minutes and 1 second.
If Foster can do the same thing as last year and get better as the season goes, expect to find him on the podium once the state race comes around this year.
