The difference between winning and losing a football game can often come down to the turnover battle. For the Wildcats of West Central Valley, they have forced a lot of turnovers on certain seasons but they also have coughed up the ball a good amount as well, especially through the air.
In the 2018 year, starting quarterback Carson Wadle had ten interceptions on the year, though he did have twelve touchdowns through the air, the first time that a Wildcats quarterback group has had more touchdown throws than interceptions since the 2013 year. Turnovers through the air have plagued West Central Valley, as it will be one thing they will be focused on as they continue practice into next week.
The team has a great coaching staff and a good young core in place, but this will be one of the many areas that the team will be focused on as fall practices continue this upcoming week.
