As head coach Shaen Polasky closes up practice after the first official week of the sports calendar, he is hoping that his team continues to take a day-by-day approach to getting better every single day. WCV lost a huge senior class from last seasons team, losing ten talented players, which included many top tier starters on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

West Central Valley has lost their quarterback, top running backs, wide receivers, and some offensive lineman. They also lost their top eight tacklers from the defensive side of the ball as well. Replacing that amount of experience and talent is going to be a very difficult task; however, there is a lot of younger talent in the Wildcats program, which could give them an opportunity to get varsity reps.

There will definitely be some growing pains at times for the Wildcats this year, but if they can learn to adjust quickly and find their footing at the varsity level, there is some exciting young talent for West Central Valley this year.
