Students and parents in the Panorama School District are reminded of the deadline to register for the school year, and some events happening next week to prepare them for the first day of school.
The deadline to register for classes, transportation, and free and reduced lunches is tomorrow. Kindergarten through 12th grade students are then invited to open houses at the elementary and secondary buildings from noon-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 21st. Superintendent Shawn Holloway shares what the open houses will involve, “In our elementary we do parent-teacher conferences to start the year and then in our secondary building it’s an open house where we’ll have sixth grade orientation, a sports type meeting. But then we’re also going to have dental and vision screenings for anybody, like pre-screenings that want those. So we’re really in the secondary building trying to find ways to bring people into the building for that open house.”
The first day of school for kindergarten through 12th grade students is Friday August 23rd, with preschool starting on Monday, August 26th. For more information on registration visit here.
