The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.

The meeting began with the Council approving Main Street Guthrie Center and the Chamber of Commerce’s request to use the City Hall parking lot on October 19th for their Fall-O-Ween event. Next, the Council discussed but took no formal action regarding an economic report from the Guthrie Center Development Board. The Council also took no action regarding the Presha Exline property at 806 North Street. Finally, the Council discussed continuing their farm leases, and approved the first reading of changes to ordinances regarding conflict of interest and budget preparation.
