The 2019 Panorama girl’s cross country team hopes to continue to be a familiar face at the state championships.

Fall practice is officially underway for all fall athletics throughout Iowa. The Panorama girl’s cross country team is coming off their sixth consecutive appearance at the state championships as a team. Similar to last year, they are led by Junior Ella Waddle. Waddle was the teams lead runner for the panthers in a successful sophomore campaign that earned her a first-place title at the district championships, and a fifth-place finish at state.

The Panthers will begin their quest for lucky number seven next Thursday at the Gilbert Invitational at Iowa State University.
