Monday marked the first official day of practice for AC/GC fall sports for the 2019 season. Sports that opened practice included football, volleyball and cross country. The Chargers fall sports are looking to build off of a very successful fall in 2018. Highlights included the football team setting a new school record for wins in a season, the volleyball team again surpassing the 20-win plateau, boys cross country harboring a top 5 state finisher, and girls cross country competing as a team at state.

The fall sports will have their scrimmages or exhibitions on Friday, August 23rd, with volleyball and football scrimmaging the Madrid Tigers in Guthrie Center and cross country running an exhibition race in Guthrie Center as well.

Game and meet action begins on Tuesday, August 27th when AC/GC volleyball hosts West Central Valley. AC/GC cross country runs in the Gilbert Invitational at Iowa State on Thursday, August 29th, and football travels to Manning to take on IKM-Manning on Friday, August 30th.
