The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting will start with reports from Director of Teaching and Learning Kevin Vidergar on back-to-school staff workshops and inservice, as well as new staff orientation from August 12-14. Also, Superintendent Clark Wicks will share thoughts on the recent School Administrators of Iowa annual conference held at the end of July. In general business, the Board will consider prices for the Perry Academic, Cultural, and Enrichment Services (PACES) program for the year, as well as changes to the PACES handbook.
They will also review updates to the staff and bus driver handbooks, and go over revisions to Board policies. Following that, the Board will consider the rental fees policy code, as well as band instrument rental fees. Other items on the agenda include: approving the bakery vendor for the coming school year; a fundraiser request for the vocal music department; and personnel changes. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the high school’s Brady Library.
