The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday.
The meeting will begin with discussion and possible action on parents’ drop off at Stuart Elementary, and an Eagle Scout project. Next, the Council will discuss and consider action on a workers compensation audit with EMC Insurance. Stuart Revitalization Group member Russ Wagner will then give a presentation on the Best of the Block BBQ Cook-Off, and the Council will consider approval of a contribution to Midwest Partnership. The Council will then hold a public hearing on rezoning of a property at 403 West Front Street, followed by an ordinance to amend the city code. Jacob Neuvirth will give a proposal to donate property to the city, and the Council will consider a resolution on a road use report. Finally, Stuart Economic Development Director Kristen Renslow will present a resolution relating to the financing of a proposed project.
The Council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
