The Perry Chamber of Commerce held their monthly networking event Friday morning, this time bringing attendees to the Perry Hy-Vee.

Store Director Matt Rohe asked to host the August Chamber Coffee for several reasons. First, he wanted to show off the store’s recent remodel, which included shifting a few departments around, such as the customer service counter. He also pointed out the new signage above the individual sections of the store, which he said is the newest available anywhere in the company. He also wanted to introduce the public and fellow Chamber members to his newest employees, including the Director of Health, Wellness, and Home Jim Lutmer, and Dietitian Rebecca Harken.

Once Rohe was finished with his presentation, the attendees were then able to go around and discuss what they have going on at their individual businesses and organizations. They were also able to partake in free refreshments provided by Hy-Vee. The Perry Chamber hosts the networking events on the second Friday morning of every month as a way to connect the local businesses with each other and the community. They are free to attend and open to the public.
