A reminder that the ninth annual Josh Davis Memorial Poker Run will be going through several communities today.

The event starts at 8am with the ride, which includes motorcycles and cars. The route begins and ends at the Perry Elks Lodge. Other stops include Mulligans in Gowrie, the Jefferson Elks Lodge, Incredibowl in Guthrie Center and Just 1 More in Jamaica. Participants will enjoy a meal, 50/50 cash raffle and a live auction. 

Jefferson Police Chief Mark Clouse reminders residents that riders will be coming to Jefferson on Highway 4. He says there will be law enforcement providing traffic control at the intersection of highways 4 and 30, as well as the intersection of Elm Street and Lincoln Way. Clouse adds the half block on Wilson Avenue to the alleyway with the post office will be temporarily closed to traffic while the participants have lunch at the Elks Lodge. Participants will then head west to Guthrie Center on Lincoln Way.
