It’s that time of year again for the football season with the Greene County Youth Athletic Association.

GCYAA will have 3rd-6th grade leagues this fall. The 3rd and 4th graders will learn the fundamentals of the sport through flag football. The 5th and 6th grades will be doing a modified version of tackle football. Practices will start later this month and games will begin in September. 

Registration fee for the lower level program is $65 per player and $175 per player for the upper level program. Each additional athlete from the same family for either program will receive a $10 discount. Plus there are Jefferson Rotary Club scholarships available for families in need of financial assistance. 

Registration deadline is August 13th. Registrations must be done online by going to gcyaa.org. For those who are new to GCYAA, you must create a profile and fill out the information once for future participation in the football programs.
