One of the things that the Lady Wildcats volleyball program will have to focus on for the 2019 season is finding a new setter. With the graduation of talented player Abigail Speichenger, WCV will be looking for a new player to come in and contribute immediately at the varsity level.

Speichenger led the Lady Wildcats with 306 assists last year and was the key cog to the Lady Wildcats offense. The rest of the team combined had a total of 29 assists. Speichenger was a three year starting setter for the Lady Wildcats, and was one of the most talented players in the West Central Conference.

The Lady Wildcats have a tough task on their hands because finding a player to create that kind of production won’t be easy. WCV will begin practice next week.
