Monday, August 5th
2:14am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with locating some juveniles that ran.
3:00am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a possible burglary in the 100 block of East Central Street.
9:10am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 130th Street.
3:02pm: A deputy investigated an illegal dumping complaint in the 800 block of 230th Street.
4:29pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
5:15pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 300 block of South 7th Street. Melynda Weltha 43 of Grand Junction was arrested for domestic abuse assault 1st offense. While investigating the domestic deputies located stolen property. Melynda was also arrested for trespass and theft 5th degree.
6:20pm: A deputy informed the owner of the stolen property who was not aware of the theft and returned the property to the owner in the 300 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction.
6:14pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near 222nd Street.
6:50pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a bull on the roadway near 7 Hills Park.
10:35pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call in the 200 block of Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.
Tuesday, August 6th
6:15am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 900 block of Chicago Street, Scranton.
2:00pm: A deputy investigated an illegal dumping complaint on the North side of Scranton.
3:15pm: Logan Warland 29 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for theft 5th degree, criminal mischief, and burglary to a vehicle 2nd or subsequent offense.
4:27pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street and R Avenue.
6:02pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 500 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton.
7:49pm: A deputy investigated a motorcycle accident on 305th Street at V Avenue. David Alderson 63 of Perry was going through a curve and hit gravel and lost control his 2003 Harley Davidson. The estimated damage to the vehicle was 2,000 dollars. Greene County Ambulance and Rippey Fire assisted. The driver was transported by personal vehicle with minor injuries.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
