The WCV Football team is undergoing transition after finishing with a 1-8 record from last season. After losing a solid class of seniors from last years team, the Wildcats offense will look for a balanced rushing and passing attack for the upcoming season with moving the chains being the main goal.
Last season offensive coordinator Seth Comly was able to accomplish that goal, with the team averaging 5.8 yards per play during their season. They also were able to have a balanced attack with 1,366 total team yards on the ground last season and 1,247 yards through the air. With these total the Wildcats averaged a total of 20.3 points per game last year.
WCV will finish out summer practices these coming weeks before fall practice officially begins.
