The AC/GC Football team hosted the opening day of their youth football camp on Wednesday in Guthrie Center. 45 future Chargers from third grade to eighth grade worked with 13 current varsity football players on their football skills inside the AC/GC junior high gymnasium due to weather. The kids worked on drills about blocking, carrying the football, throwing the football, as well as agility drills with cones and bags.

The AC/GC Football Facebook page posted “Day 1 of youth camp in the books. Rain didn’t stop us from having a great day! #FutureChargers”. The youth camp began on Wednesday and will last until Friday, August 2nd, from 10 a.m., to 2 p.m on all 3 days.
