The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with three items related to the Human Resources Department, starting with payroll change notices. The other two items include further discussion on a service agreement with Wageworks for employee flex spending accounts, and an update on the employee handbook. Following that, there will be several topics involving the law enforcement center project. First, the Board will consider permits from the Department of Natural Resources, which was tabled from last week, followed by a contract for inmate meals. Next, they will set the time and date to receive and open bids for the furnishings of the facility, and also set a public hearing to award the bid.
The Board will then consider a pay application and change order for the Auditor’s office parking lot project. Other items on the agenda include: an out of state travel request for Emergency Medical Services Director Mike Thomason; discussion and possible action on postage meters; and an event request from the Iowa Prayer Caucus Network to use the courthouse lawn. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
