The Jefferson Police Department has advised Raccoon Valley Radio listeners of an exchange student doing door-to-door sales.
Iowa State University exchange student Elizabeth Truve is from the eastern European country of Estonia, and she has a valid door-to-door license in the City of Jefferson. She will be selling educational materials for k-12 students to help them save time with homework. The police department points out this is not an endorsement of any product, only a notification that she has a valid license to sell door-to-door, so people don’t need to report solicitations to law enforcement.
Truve will be in the area for the next couple of weeks.
