Two Adair County organizations have been named as recipients of grants from the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Wallace Centers of Iowa has received $10,000 for a Prairie Art Exhibit and Festival. This project will combine art creation, art classes, educational displays, and speakers to highlight the cultural significance of Iowa’s prairies. The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield received a $9,129 grant for their “Locals & Legends Series.” This series will bring diverse forms of live performing arts to rural Iowans in Adair County and southwest Iowa.
