The fundraising season for Relay for Life of Guthrie County isn’t over yet, as one local team invites people to tee up for their annual event.

The “Angels Fore Life” Four Person Best Shot Golf Tournament takes place Saturday, August 3rd at the Guthrie Center Golf Course. Registration is $50 per person and includes carts, 18 holes of golf, games, prices, and a pork loin lunch. Event organizer Kim Durst shares why they host this tournament, “It’s just a fun way of getting together and raising money. My husband and his buddies all enjoy golfing and so when we first started, it was basically them saying, ‘Hey, we really enjoy doing tournaments, people look for different tournaments to get involved in for great causes,’ and so that was kind of how we decided to put something like this together with our relay team.”

All proceeds go to Relay for Life of Guthrie County, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society. For more information, visit here.
