0834 hrs, Teresa Gaver reported family members were still breaking into her property and moving her items around.
1134 hrs, An officer investigated a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident in the 200 Block of North Elm Street. A 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, owned and operated by Virginia Purcell of Guthrie Center, was northbound in the outside lane of North Elm Street. Purcell attempted to change lanes. While pulling into the inside lane, Purcell’s vehicle struck a northbound vehicle beside her in the inside lane. The 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix was owned and operated by Brianna Ferguson of Jefferson. Both vehicles had a reported $1000.00 each in damages. Purcell was cited for, “Improper Use of Lane.”
1303 hrs, People’s Bank advised the ATM machine had been struck overnight by a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle had reported the event to the bank this morning. Ron Grimsley was operating his 2019 Kia Sorento in the drive thru. He attempted to pull up to the ATM machine and lightly struck the machine. The ATM suffered a reported $50.00 in damages, while the Grimsley vehicle had a reported $850.00 in damages.
1305 hrs, Justin Baker requested an officer at 500 East Clark Street for a male refusing to leave the property. The officer learned that the male had resided at the address for three months. The officer advised they would have to do an Eviction Process on the male.
1314 hrs, While investigating the previous entry, the officer learned a male at the residence had an outstanding Arrest Warrant. Jon Michael Johnson, 31 of Jefferson was arrested on the outstanding Carroll County Arrest Warrant for, “Failure to Appear.” The original charge was “Assault.”
1822 hrs, Teresa Gaver reported family members were again stealing her items from 1000 West Adams Street #6. The officer spoke with Gaver, convincing her this was not happening as no one was at her apartment with her.
