The Cinderella story continues for Jason Book’s ADM Baseball team after another impressive win on the road at Harlan on Wednesday night.

The Tigers took down the hosting Cyclones, 3-1, after falling behind 1-0 after just one inning.

Logan Crannell pitched the complete game for ADM, and the Senior didn’t disappoint.  Crannell was completely zoned in against Harlan, allowing just one hit to the Cyclones all night, and striking out nine batters.

The Tigers were able to manufacture runs with singles, aggressive base running, and their favored, small-ball mentality.

With the win at Harlan, ADM has earned a trip to the State Tournament in Downtown Des Moines next week, as the Tigers will get to play on the Iowa Cubs’ home diamond, Principal Park.

ADM, 14-16, will likely be granted a lower seed in the bracket due to record, but there’s no question that Crannell, Zach Fuller, Jaxson Millsap, and the rest of the Tigers have hit their stride and are peaking at the right time.

As of 11:00pm, Wednesday evening, the Iowa High School Athletic Association has not posted the bracket for Class 3A, though the Tigers are guaranteed a game on Tuesday, July 30 in Des Moines.

Once the bracket becomes official and is released, we will post the game times at raccoonvalleyradio.com, and on-air, as well.

Post game reaction from Head Coach, Jason Book, and Pitcher, Logan Crannell can be expected on Thursday.

As always, the Tigers run for a State Title in Des Moines next week will be aired with live, play-by-play coverage on K107.9, online streaming at raccoonvalleyradio.com, or on the free KKRF mobile app.
