It’s not too often an eighth grader earns post season recognition, especially in the competitive west central Iowa region.  Perry shortstop curbed that trend Monday when she found out that she earned All West District honors for the state of Iowa in softball.  The young shortstop was terrific in her first varsity sport leading Perry in every offensive category while leading the team from her shortstop position. Olejniczak finished the season hitting 405 with a team high four home runs.  Olejniczak was one of two eighth graders selected to the All West Squad.
