The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

Following a public hearing, the Council will consider approving the first reading of an ordinance to change the zoning of a property from Residential Single-Family District to Residential Multi-Family District. Additionally, the Council will consider approving an agreement with Alliant Energy to extend a gas line to the Grimmell Road lift station. They will also consider approving the purchase of fairway mower for the golf course, a roof replacement for the water plant, and the contract and payment to relocate 243rd Street for the airport runway extension project. Finally, the Council will discuss a frontage road project.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
