The next event in the Perry Chamber of Commerce “Better My Business” seminar series will be held tomorrow, and it will focus on legal concerns.

Samantha Wegner of Iowa Legal Aid will host a program called “Avoiding Legal Hazards,” which will begin at noon in the Town/Craft Building. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti feels it’s beneficial to bring in statewide resources to help aspiring and current business owners alike. “This is really an opportunity to talk to the experts, so if you have a question or are thinking about different things, this is a really great chance to be in the same room with those that can answer those questions. The whole topic will be on avoiding legal hazards. So as a business owner or getting into business, just things to be aware of and to kind of help make sure that your ducks are in a row, so that you can spend the time on actually working your business!”

Pasutti adds, the workshop will be a good chance for attendees to network with other individuals who may be at the same or similar stage of building their businesses, providing an opportunity to share ideas amongst themselves. There is no cost to attend this or any of the events in the Better My Business series, though registration is requested.
