After the success of their first event this summer, the Adel Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer their second “Movie in the Park” this weekend.
On Saturday, July 27th, the public is invited to take in the Disney-Pixar film “The Incredibles 2” at the Adel Stage and Pavilion. The movie is rated PG and has a runtime of 125 minutes. The venue is located on the northwest corner of 10th and Court streets, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for the showing. The movie will begin at sunset, which is estimated to be at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday. There is no cost to attend the “Movie in the Park,” and both popcorn and popsicles will be provided by Parks and Rec. However, the event is weather dependent and will be postponed if there is rain.
The first event in the Adel summer film series was at the end of June, as they showed “Ralph Breaks the Internet” in Evans Park. For more information on this and other upcoming Adel Parks and Rec activities, click the link below to visit their Facebook page.
