The Jefferson Elks Lodge is participating in a vehicle ride later this month.

The “Elk-Around Fun Ride” is open to anyone with a truck, car or motorcycle as it travels around to several Elks Lodges in the area. The route starts at the Ames Elks Lodge, then stops at the Marshalltown Elks Lodge, followed by a stop at the Marshalltown Veteran’s Home with a vehicle show for residents, and ends at the Perry Elks Lodge.

The registration fee is $10, which includes a meal at the Marshalltown lodge. Check-ins are from 9:30-10am on Saturday, July 27th. The ride will happen rain or shine. All proceeds will benefit local military veterans and youth programs, including Greene County.
